Description:

A New York toll booth. A war zone. A Gideon Bible, bouts with illness and discrimination, and ground beef: these all figure into the real-life stories of love captured by StoryCorps since it began its quest, nearly a decade ago, to build an oral history of America.

On Thursday, February 2, StoryCorps founder and president Dave Isay comes to 89.3 KPCC’s Crawford Family Forum for a reading and signing of All There Is: Love Stories from StoryCorps, a collection of personal anecdotes culled from over 40,000 interviews. This event coincides with the US release of this newest StoryCorps volume, and offers a unique opportunity to hear tales of others’ experiences of a most fundamental human emotion – love – in its many varied stages and forms.

Admission is FREE, but RSVP's are required.
