On Wednesday, April 11th, join KPCC Senior News Editor Cheryl Devall for a moderated discussion that examines what – and how – we know and understand the role of race, not only in ‘92’s upheaval but also in its remembrance.
By taking up insights from community focus groups and offering the public a chance to engage about the implications of L.A.’s Riots of ‘92, this forum aims to spur more, and deeper, conversation among the Southland’s diverse communities… to start those exchanges before April 29th, the 20th anniversary of a piece of our local history carrying a very complex legacy now and tomorrow.
