ABOUT ABOUT

For the fifth year in a row, the Crawford Family Forum at KPCC is the site of Pasadena’s annual Olympic Day celebration.  This year, we feature the sport of cycling. The popularity of cycling is rising all across the country, both in the Olympics and beyond.  Join us for an exploration of cycling in Olympic arenas and in our own city streets.

The program will include a private screening of the film, Personal Gold, that documents the trials and tribulations of the 2012 US Women’s Olympic Pursuit Cycling team.

Hosted by former Olympic champion John Naber with special guests:

Tamara Christopherson, director of Personal Gold and Olympic kayaker
Sky Christopherson, producer of Personal Gold and Olympic cyclist

with fellow Olympic cyclists Giddeon Massie, Ron Skarin and David Brinton

    Hosted reception - 6:00pm
    Screening - 7:00pm
