“Real Boy” is an intimate story of a family in transition. Directed by Shaleece Haas, the documentary follows 19-year-old Bennett Wallace, a transgender teen musician, as he navigates sobriety and the transitioning process. His journey is juxtaposed with that of his mother, who struggles with his decisions and is unsure of her ability to accept and support him.
