“I’ve always been really curious about things and slightly confused by the world, and I think someone who feels that way is in a good position to be the one asking questions.” -Terry Gross
Throughout 2022, we’re hosting Public Radio Palooza, a year-long party celebrating public radio’s unique ways of keeping us connected and informed, dazzled and entertained. And what public radio party would be complete without one of its most recognizable voices?
On February 26, Fresh Air’s Terry Gross (she/her) comes to LA (virtually). For more than 30 years, Fresh Air has been an integral part of the cultural landscape, led by Gross’s unique and sharply intelligent interview style. Go behind-the-mic with Gross, in conversation with KPCC’s own award-winning journalist Josie Huang (she/her), as they discuss what makes a great interview and what happens when they don’t go as planned. This is a rare opportunity to witness the legendary interviewer answering, instead of asking, the questions. And while the event is virtual, capacity is limited, so get your tickets early to make sure you don’t miss out.

Fresh Air is distributed by NPR and is carried by more than 600 stations nationwide. You can listen locally in Los Angeles on 89.3 KPCC, Monday-Friday 12-1 pm & 8-9 pm.
This event is part of Public Radio Palooza, a year-long event series celebrating all things public radio. Be the first to find out about dates, venues, and where to get tickets by signing up for our email list.
